In modern society, our world is surrounded by things that can make a person famous by the click of a selfie. With the help of Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets, markets have flourished because of the open gate of communication by the touch of a button. Today I am counting down the best beauty looks this week on Social Media. I will be focusing more or Instagram because that is a very popular tool to connect the world with.

• @wahnails–I love the way the rainbow spectrum wraps around her eyes. Not to mention, I live for a winged eye!

• @caradelevingne–Even though she is very young, she models as if she has been doing this for centuries. From her famous eye brows and even piercing eyes, this model is never slowing down. Not to mention, she has been on countless magazine covers and runways all over the world.

• @findyourcalifornia–This is perfect beauty picture in my opinion. It really shows the natural beauty of a person especially with the Sun as the perfect light source. Not to mention that floppy hat is to die for!

• @aarondemey1–This is a great portrait of a rocker/grudge look. I like how they emphasized the heavy black eyeliner and red lip.

• @jasonwu–The fashion designer struck pure gold with these beauty upload. I love how her purple lips compliment her chocolate tone. That touch of yellow at the top creates the perfect balance.

There are some beauty products that I just live by! Whether its cocoa butter, or my olive oil hair dress, certain products are vital to my existence. I am pretty sure others feel the same way. Even if you do not want to admit it, some beauty products are necessary to keep our look in check. Lets challenge ourselves and see if we really need those products after all. Lets say you only had $20 to use on items to keep your beauty in line. Is it possible? Lets put our money on the table and explore the option of beauty on a budget.

 

• Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Trios: This is perfect for stunning eyes no matter what color they are! Not to the mention its equipped with the precise colors for the base, lid, and crease of your eyes. Ready for the price? $4.49 at Target. Now that’s a cheap way to experience the world in different colors.

• Maybelline Expert Twin Brow and Eye pencil: Want to keep those brows on point? In need of a smoky eye? The best way to create those looks is to use this product which cost $2.97 at your local Wal-Mart. Can you say money in the bank?

• L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick, Cinnamon Toast: A rich and luxurious color that will have you in whirlwind of warmth. The price will warm you heart and soul too. $3.83 at Wal-Mart as well.

• Noxzema: This is a beauty product that I swear by. It keeps my skin very clean and soft. Infused with eucalyptus oil, I can feel this product really cleaning my pores out. When I swipe my card to purchase some Noxema, it glows at the fact that I just spent $2.97 at CVS.

• Rimmel Extra WOW Lash Building Mascara: A mascara that not only provides 12X the volume and helps build lashes must be very expensive. Well even on our budget we can afford it. $3.47.

• Smart Water: After all this budgeting, I bet you are thirsty! If you are in the vicinity of Quik Trip, treat yourself to a bottle of Smart Water that’s only $1.59. Water is nature’s best way to keep our skin clean, smooth and free of blemishes. Can you say thirst quencher?

Whats in my bag?!?! Beauty products you should always keep handy!!

With the elements, our day-to-day commute, and the environment we live in, our skin takes a beating on the daily. Not to mention our hair, nails, and most essentially our lips undergo the same severe treatment. No matter what your day may unfold, its imperative to keep some beauty products close in order to keep your look fresh. Now I am not say bring your whole make up bag with you! Only a couple of things for a routine touch up. Interested in keeping your hair laid no matter how humid the weather is? Want to keep your face fresh and your make up concealed? Check out my beauty run down of products that are crucial for a kept face.

• Lip balm: Even if you are wearing a lip paint or lip stick having this tube a glory is a good thing. For example, I always keep my favorite lip balm Lyp Syl in my pocket to keep my lips on fleek no matter what the outdoors may look like.
• Face Towels: This is perfect for getting rid of that extra grit off of your face during a hot day.
• Rubber bands, bobby pins, and clips: When you really want you get your hair off of your neck these are your best friends. Also they are great tools for creating a cute style for a BBQ or day at the beach.
• Nail clipper: When you have a hang-nail or in between visits for your routine pedicure, nail clippers are vital.
• Hair Brush: The best way to style your hair times is to tame it! Keep a brush handy!
• Eye shadow, lip stick, mascara, etc: Take some of your favorite make up products for a ride. Grab the items that you used to do your make up originally. This will keep your look sealed.

We all love makeup. No matter the colors or tools, makeup is an accessory to any outfit. Whether you are hanging out with friends or going to lunch after class, your makeup doesn’t have to be extreme. Natural always works especially if you are girl on the go! If you were giving the opportunity to create a signature look by using only 5 items, would you have the confidence to pull it off? What items would you select? What areas would you focus on? I ask this question because sometimes our society get attached to having a beat face all the time. You and I both know that is not possible! Take a moment and think about how your look would be created by utilizing 5 items.

If I had the chance to create a flawless look with only 5 beauty items it would be:

1. Concealer: This is perfect for coverage and any beauty imperfections. You can use this as foundation also!
2. Eyeliner: The eyes are the window to the soul so they should pop!
3. Eye Shadow: Add some flavor by applying a funky color. This can help you stand out in a crowd and add some spunk to your look.
4. Mascara: What is the point of having your eyes pop if your lashes are lackluster? Shake them up with some mascara so your lashes are perky too!
5. Lipstick/Lip paint/Lip gloss: This item can be either or. It really depends on your preference. Sometimes lip gloss can be too sticky. Make sure what ever you use for your lips they add color and moisture.

The holidays are near and everyone is full of cheer! From stuffing stockings, to preparing your favorite sweet treats, this time of year is perfect for special gifts and most essentially the right lip color. What color will you be wearing this holiday season? Well, if you are not sure about what color is right for you, just ask yourself a simple question? What color fits my skin tone the best? Not to mention, what kind of look I want to go for during the holiday season? If you need some assistance making this decision, continue to read this blog and we can solve this problem together!

If you are feeling sexy, daring, and bold, go with a purple lip. Not only is it gorgeous, but can really perk up your pout. Who said kisses don’t lie? I love a purple lip because the color is outside the box and very transferable from a day to-night look.

If you are in the mood for a classic, timeless lip, choose the color red. Red is the perfect pout color because you can go edgy or even soft with red lips. I love red lips because you can dress up as if you are Santa’s helper and your lips are the best accessory! Tie a bow on that present and wrap it tight!

If you want to go for a natural, sultry lip, nude lips are best for this holiday season. Its warm and very neutral to any look. Whether you are wearing a dress or riding boots, nude lips are perfect for the occasion.

Our lips is a canvas that can be painted with many colors. Whether its lip paint, lip stick, lip gloss, or your regular Vaseline for moisture, lips is our way of saying “Hello”. Who wants to walk around with crusty, dry lips? I know for a fact I don’t! Over time our lips can dry out causing them to crack, hurt, and most essentially bleed. So #Kontrolyourlips with these fun beauty tips that will keep your lips puckered. Now smile for the camera; your lips are the superstar today.

1. Suffering from chapped lips? Do you need to exfoilate your lips? Well I would not suggest you using a rough texture to get that dead skin off. People easily forget that our lips have skin on them as well. Instead, take a toothbrush and run under warm water. Then gently brush your lips. I know it sounds crazy, but brushing your lips can actually remove the dead skin that on them. Don’t forget to rinse and repeat. After brushing, make sure your dry and moisturize your lips. This is a great way to keep them soft and silky.
2. Avoid licking your lips! This can actually make your lips drier. Instead of licking them, try to keep chap stick or my favorite Lyp Syl, in your pocket. I would rather my lips be well moisten versus super dry.
3. Lips and eyes are the most prominent body part on our face.  Interested in illuminating up dark lips? You can use cucumber juice. Just simply slice cucumbers and rub on lips for about 5 minutes once a day. This is a perfect way to strive for lips with a pink hue.
4. Do you have naturally pink lips? You want to make them stand out even more? Try crushing pomegranate seeds with cream or milk and rub on lips daily. They will look noticeably redder and fuller in no time.
5. Want to keep lips soft? Slice a lemon and sprinkle some sugar on the top. Rub on lips for a couple of minutes daily. Welcome to lip heaven.
