Jhene Aiko Releases New Visual: The Pressure

With just a few short days until the release of her highly anticipated album, ‘Souled Out’, Jhene Aiko has release a visual to the single “The Pressure” off of the up coming album. The video depicts Aiko tanned,  and glowing in her blonde faux locs, navigating through the pressure’s of being an aspiring artist, mom and maintaining a relationship.

 

The simplistic, and abstract video plays directly to Aikos, airy, and sultry BoHo Chic style. There is never a question about what Jhene will deliver. Check out the video below and tell us what you think!

13 Is sometimes known as one of the unlucky numbers of the calender year, “Friday The 13th” being an example of this. The truth is no number is unlucky unless you make it. We here at KontrolGirl Magazine are excited to bring in the new year, with new and exciting events and projects. We strive to make 2013 a year that you won’t forget, so fasten your seat belts. If you felt you didn’t complete goals in 2012, then make sure you bring them into 2013, but also make sure you complete them this year, because the moto for this year is “Don’t Procrastinate”. Here is a list of 13 things to do for the new year, if they weren’t already on your “New Year, New You List”.

1.) Get into shape
2.) Be more friendly
3.) Be adventurous
4.) Take situations less seriously than I would normally
5.) Cultivate friendships
6.) Paint and draw more
7.) Help others in need
8.) Get a job where you dont feel its a “JOB”
9.) Get out of the house more
10.) Be Happy
11.) Start something you wanted to start in 2012
12.) Give back to the community
13.) Live Your Life, Don’t let others Live it for you!!
