There are a lot of great young actresses in today’s TV industry–but we have to say, none could be as intriguing as this Georgia beauty, Katelyn Nacon. The 17-year-old has been blowing up the charts for quite some time now–especially with her role as ‘Enid’ from AMC’s hit series, The Walking Dead. In the series, Nacon portrays the quiet and mysterious teenager, Enid, who’s also a survivor of the zombie outbreak. Throughout her role on the show, the young TV star has made a big name for herself.
Born and raised in the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, Nacon got her start in performing arts at an early age. At the tender age of three, Nacon began performing in local Atlanta musicals, but it wasn’t until the age of 13 that she then discovered her love for acting.
After attending a local workshop, the actress found that acting was her desired career path. In 2013, she landed her first role in a local film, Loving Generously–playing a supporting role as the teenage daughter, Megan. Shortly after, Nacon‘s acting career took off. She has appeared in a number of shows–including: ABC’s Resurrection, Cartoon Network Adult Swim’s Too Many Cooks, and her most infamous role in The Walking Dead.
