Tiffany and Co is known for providing men with that special, little blue box and bringing joy to many women’s lives. But their signature jewelry and legacy is in jeopardy. The company is experiencing falling profits and stock prices, according to a business report from Business of Fashion. The jeweler is on a mission to turn things around and has enlisted some A-list celebrities to help do so.
Former American Vogue creative director, Grace Coddington, joined the jewelry house as a creative partner to help with rebranding. Coddington has signed teen star Elle Fanning and Lupita Nyong’o on to represent the timeless brand along with models Natalie Westling and Christy Turlington. A historic moment for the company because this marks the first time celebrities have starred in a campaign. Each lady showcases a piece of the brand’s new “Tiffany T” collection. Nyong’o posted a preview of her ad, which will be released nationwide in September.
The reshaped concept is titled “Legendary Style.” Upcoming campaigns will feature women in the studio instead of their iconic ads that are black and white and feature women wearing their jewelry on New York streets. A re-launch of the company’s affordable “Love” collection by designer Reed Krakoff with the slogan “#lovenotlike” will also be released soon.
Tiffany and Co are hoping to attract a younger buyer, particularly millennials. The company also intends to introduce it to new consumers and get skeptics to reconsider.

With winners like Chris Brown for Best R&B Artist to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber playing it cool with their on and off again relationship, the carpet was certainly the place to be and see before the show even begun.
Check out my favorite looks from last nights commencement.

Our favorite free spirt, Jhené Aiko, has collaborated with a couple of brands to bring us all the goodies to be “souled out,” and we are pretty excited about it! Jhené delivers everytime with her sonic goodies, but we’re happy to be getting some merchandise to further express our love more her!
Jhené got together with the people over at Como La Flor Halos to create some dope cat ear head bands. The cats ears are made of little rosettes, and they come in black and beige. So cute! & these cat bands are puuur-fect if you want to embrace your inner feline for Halloween!
The second collab that Jhené has for us is with Luv AJ. This Jhené Aiko x Luv AJ collection is all about jewelry! It features a ‘souled out’ engraved bracelet as well as a necklace and ring reminiscent of one of Jhené Aiko’s tattoos.
As full-on supporters of Ms. Jhené, we are pretty excited about getting our hands on this merchandise so that we can be further ‘souled out!’ The merchandise launched Thursday night, and will be available on Jhené Aiko’s official site on October 15th. Look up these brands and get you merch now!
What do you all think about these Jhené Aiko collaborations? What are your favorite pieces? Leave us a comment and let us know!
There is nothing like locating a great sale where not only you find your size, but a lot of items for a super cool price. Who does not love a sale at store where your heart and wallet is in heaven! I know it makes my heart melt when I walk into a store and see a sign that says “30-50%” off selected items. Most of the time the items on sale are cute and very chic. Not only is it good when you find a good sale on clothes, but most essentially accessories! Yes! I love cute accessories that has the potential to take my look to the next level. From bracelets, bangles, necklaces and earrings, accessories have the ability to change a look with just a snap.
On Thursday, I had the chance to visit a store in Phipps Plaza called Barami. The store was hosting a great sale on clothes, bags, and most essentially accessories! I but a super cute ring for $12.00 which was originally $20.00. Not to mention the store was honoring a 30% sale. So I decided to rack and save. Besides purchasing a ring, I bought two gold buckle hinge bangles and two silver stretchable charm bracelets. Sounds cute right? All together I spent about $45.00 dollars and my wrist and coin purse was very satisfied.
