H&M continues to reign supreme. The company announced a new collaboration with Parisian fashion house, Kenzo. The collection comes on the heels of their highly successfully partnership with Balmain. Last year’s Balmain partnership was H&M’s most popular so far – Kenzo has big shoes to fill. Previews of the collection have surfaced and fashion experts indicate the line will not disappoint.
Ann-Sofie Johannson, head of design at H&M, indicated the company wanted to go in a new direction with this upcoming collection. The new autumn/winter collection will feature clothes and accessories for both men and women. H&M has been working on bringing this collaboration into fruition for a few years. Kenzo creative directors, Carol Lim and Humbert Leon described the collaboration with H&M as an opportunity to think big, push boundaries, and bring new energy. This line is expected to be vibrant, young, and fun. Kenzo’s clothing is known for its vivid colours and prints.
Since 2004, H&M has collaborated with designers to bring high end fashion to shoppers for an affordable price. The line launches worldwide in select stores and online on November 3.
So mark your calendars and prepare to get in line weeks in advance if you want to get your hands on pieces from the highly anticipated collection.
