Right now, the South of France is the hottest place to be, because celebs are at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Leave it to the French to give us life with chic and sophisticated looks on the Red Carpet. Aside from the Met Gala, this is the most glamorous red carpet of the summer – after all, this is a twelve-day event. The purpose of the Festival de Cannes is to bring attention to and raise the profile of films with the goal of giving towards the progress of cinema, hyping the film industry internationally and celebrating cinema worldwide.

Style icons, including Kim Kardashian-West, Adriana Lima, Eva Longoria, and Kendall Jenner all graced the notoriously high-glamour red carpet. Check out my top picks below:

This mother of 2, arrived yesterday at The Cannes Film Festival covered in crystals at the De Grisogono party – wearing a custom gown by Lan Yu Couture with embellished chains and a nude slip.

Supermodel, Adriana Lima arrived on the red carpet in a long sleeved, silk Prada gown complete with a plunging neckline, black lace trim on the sleeves and body and two thigh-high slits to show off her killer, supermodel legs. She paired the look with a natural makeup and a sleek ponytail that revealed her emerald and diamond earrings.

Kim’s little sister, Kendall Jenner showed her assets wearing a Roberto Cavalli sheer tulle gown, with high waist bottoms underneath. She chose to go with Gianvito pumps and Chopard earrings and her hair pulled from her face.

Lastly, petite Latina actress Eva Longoria wore a sleek black Pamella Roland gown at the “Money Monster” premier. She kept her look simple with a slinky chain necklace and a red manicure to match the carpet.
