Nick Jonas Has No Regrets About Dating Miley Cyrus

The people whom we choose to date can make us wonder a number of things after it’s all said and done: sometimes we wonder why it didn’t work out, sometimes its why we even got into  a relationship to begin with and sometimes, we even regret those choices. Nick Jonas however, does not regret his past relationship with actress/singer Miley Cyrus.

When discussing their relationship, the 22-year-old singer said: “I was so young. What’s unfortunate is that, as we got older, we ran in different circles. We’ve always had respect and wished the best for each other. I don’t know that I have any regrets. It’s more gratitude for having had a good friend in a time of craziness in my life and in hers.”

But Nick, who also previously dated Delta Goodrem, admits it “can be complicated” to date people in the same industry. He told Elle magazine: “I think that dating other musicians can be complicated at times. Especially when they think highly of themselves.”

Asked if he was “talking about a specific musician,” he said: “No. Not necessarily. But it does complicate things. That’s probably why I’m no longer with those people.” The heartthrob has been dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo since 2012, but insists she is a normal girl. He said: “She’s just Olivia from Rhode Island. She had this incredible opportunity and she conquered that world. But it doesn’t define her.

“Vanity is a big misconception, or that they’re [beauty queens] not as intelligent as some people. But a lot of them are very sweet – with a real love and respect for women and for empowering women.”

I love how highly Nick speaks of his exes. It says a lot about him, especially at such a young age.
