Suno’s designers, Erin Beattyand Max Osterweis, used Bertha Mason, the “madwoman in the attic” in Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre, to inspire the collection that was shown walking up and down the runway for their Fall 2015 collection.
This was definitely interpreted throughout the line with blacks and grays and hints of red. The line definitely evoked a certain level of sadness with touches of vibrancy and happiness that is very indicative of something “mad”. Fur was also present in the line, which is not typical for Suno, in accents to round out the look.
My favorites were definitely the coats, many of them were solid in color with bold accents that made a great statement, but still projected a feeling of sharp and clean lines.
